Terms of Use
1. Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") cover your use of this website and of the Artifactry service at app.artifactry.app, including its web app, its MCP endpoint and its HTTP interface (together, the "Service"). "We", "us" and "Artifactry" mean the operator of the Service. By creating an account, connecting an AI app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you're allowed to accept these Terms on its behalf.
If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Beta service
Artifactry is in beta. That means:
- The Service is currently free. We plan to introduce paid plans, priced per workspace, in the future. We'll give you reasonable notice before any charge applies to you, and you can stop using the Service before then.
- Features may change, be added or be removed, sometimes without notice.
- The Service may be interrupted, slow, or contain bugs. Keep your own copies of anything important.
- We may limit, suspend or end the beta, or your access to it, at any time.
3. Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. You're responsible for keeping access to that email secure and for everything done through your account, including by AI apps and tokens you connect. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been used without permission.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 16, to use the Service.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the files and information you or your AI apps put into Artifactry ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store, process, copy, index, display and transmit Your Content only as needed to run, secure and improve the Service for you, for example to extract text for search, generate suggested tags, and deliver shares you create.
You're responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to upload and share it. When you share something, the people you share it with can view or download it according to the permissions you choose.
5. AI apps and tokens
When you connect an AI app or create a personal token, you authorize it to act in Artifactry on your behalf within the permissions you grant. Actions taken through a connection you authorized are treated as yours. AI apps are provided by third parties under their own terms, and we're not responsible for what they do with information they receive. You can disconnect any app at any time in your profile.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or upload or share content that infringes others' rights, is malicious, or is harmful to others;
- upload malware or try to get around file checks, sandboxes or previews;
- probe, scan or test the Service's security, or access accounts or data that aren't yours, except through a responsible disclosure agreed with us;
- overload the Service, get around rate limits, or use it to send spam;
- resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe break these rules.
7. Third-party services
The Service and this website rely on third parties, including Cloudflare (hosting, storage and AI processing), an email delivery provider for sign-in codes and share notifications, Google Fonts (web fonts on this website) and Splitforms (the Request a Feature form). Your use of features that involve them may also be subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feature requests, you allow us to use them without any obligation to you.
9. No warranty
The Service and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. You use the beta at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Artifactry and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the beta is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to zero, or the lowest amount permitted by law where that is higher.
Some places don't allow certain limits on liability, so some of this section may not apply to you.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we end the beta. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice and a chance to export Your Content first.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
